Terms
Terms of service, without the fog.
Last updated 18 October 2026
Draft for review. This is a plain-language draft written before launch. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before Ansa accepts paying customers.
These terms are the agreement between you and Ansa (“we”) when you use our website, dashboard, chat widget and hosted chat pages. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Ansa does
Ansa lets you create an AI assistant that answers your customers’ questions using the information you provide, on your website or through a shareable link. It is a tool to help with common questions. It is not a replacement for you or your staff.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate details and keep your password safe.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and use Ansa for a business.
3. Your content
You own the content you add and the conversations your assistant has. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run Ansa for you. We never use it to train AI models. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload or link to.
4. AI answers can be wrong
Ansa is designed to answer only from your information and to say when it doesn’t know, but AI can still make mistakes or misread your content. Please test your assistant, keep your information up to date and review conversations. You are responsible for the information your assistant gives your customers, and you should not rely on it for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical advice.
5. Acceptable use
Please don’t use Ansa to:
- break the law, mislead people, or pretend to be someone you are not;
- collect sensitive personal data, or upload content you don’t have the right to use;
- attack, overload or try to get around the limits and security of the service;
- send spam, malware or harmful content.
We may suspend accounts that put customers, other businesses or the service at risk.
6. Plans, limits and payment
- Each plan includes a fixed number of answers each month and other limits shown on the pricing page.
- When you reach your monthly limit, your assistant pauses and shows visitors how to contact you. We never charge extra automatically.
- Paid billing is being introduced. We will tell you the price, currency and payment method before you are ever charged, and give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel or delete your account at any time from your settings. There are no long-term contracts. When you delete your account, we delete your content as described in our privacy notice.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep Ansa running, but it is provided “as is” without a guaranteed uptime while we are in early access. We may change or improve features, and will tell you in advance about changes that affect you significantly.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ansa is not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits) and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes and contact
If we update these terms we will post the new version here and email account holders before significant changes take effect. Questions? Email hello@ansaapp.com.
